After extensive research we concluded that this venue offers the best coffee in all of Makhanda. Their quiches also received rave reviews from some of our party - pastries didn't disappoint either. And don't forget to try their toasted sandwiches. The decor is somewhat minimalist but nonetheless the overall ambience is welcoming and comfortable. Service is charming but the ordering/payment system can get a little overwhelmed during peak periods. Nevertheless, we visited again and again and again. A lovely spot.

Best coffee in Grahamstown! Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. If you come here during term time you'll spot the coming and goings of lectures, students and locals. It's a wonderfully welcoming space and a good spot to sit and observe the main road in Grahamstown. Make sure to try the cheesecake and quiches :)
